Kettle Art proudly host the third annual Summer Session: Creative Works of DFW’s Teaching Artists curated by Justin Clumpner.

As William Butler Yeats said, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” Teaching artists balance between educating and producing. They constantly stoke their own creative flames while igniting the passion for art in their students. By working to enrich the lives of our children while maintaining their own professional practice, they strengthen our community and deepen their understanding of their own craft. This exhibition highlights the work of some of the finest artist educators working in primary and secondary schools here in Dallas-Fort Worth. Please join us in celebrating their work and their dedication to our community.

Opening reception will be Thursday, June 27th, 2019, 6:00 – 9:00pm at Kettle Art.
