Deep Leap, a group show at Kettle Arts, presents the recent work of nine artists who recently completed the Advanced Studio Seminar at The O’Keefe Studio Center. This exhibition was curated by artist Michael O’Keefe, the owner of and primary instructor at The O’Keefe Studio Center, a teaching studio dedicated to art education and professional development opportunities for artists of all levels.

The Advanced Studio Seminar is a program intended to help artists dive deeper into an effective studio practice, develop a stronger visual language and a more unique voice.

Each artist will show various works, demonstrating a personal style and inquiry. The show will include paintings, drawings, encaustics, collage, sculptures and assemblage, and will explore a range of work, ranging from representational figuration to pure abstraction, from classical design to zany illustration. Come jump into the interesting work of these nine artists: Lynn Baskind, Debbie Burch, Marc Dominus, Brian Ellard, Trey Hoffmann, Mahsa Moein, Marianne Phelps, Jeannie Neal, and Mary Elizabeth Schleier.

Opening reception is Thursday, May 9th, from 6 – 9pm.

The show will run through Sunday, May 19th.
